Meet the team

We’re a bright bunch of forward-thinking architects and developers based in Oslo. Formed in 2017, we centre ourselves around a simple idea: sustainability.

Now, we know that’s not exactly a revolutionary concept in 2022. But putting it into practice requires fresh, adaptable design solutions. And that’s where Predio comes in.

We put our multi-national brains together to go beyond the average interpretation of ‘sustainability’. To us, it means positive action rather than a guilt-ridden, abstaining state of mind - green ticks over red crosses, if you will.
‍
When applied, that means densifying over expansion. We know Oslo is full of hidden gems - dusty attics left bare, derelict top floors used only for storage…
so it doesn’t make sense to build anything new while valuable space in the city remains empty.

We do this to save green spaces from being developed and to help halt the encroaching sprawl of urban spaces into nature at a time it matters most. And we couldn’t be prouder of the results.

But we don’t just make up our own definition of sustainability, either.
‍
To show we’re really serious about this, we’ve chosen to commit to several UN Sustainable Development Goals. With a focus on Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), we even wrote it into our ‘constitution’ at the time Predio was founded.
